Overview

This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, for what purposes we do so and which rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

Note: This English version is provided for your convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the German version of our privacy policy prevails.

We only process personal data if at least one of the following legal bases applies:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): you have agreed to the processing for a specific purpose.
  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): the processing is necessary to answer your inquiry, prepare an offer or perform a contract with you.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): we are legally required to process the data, for example to keep invoices.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): the processing is necessary to operate this website securely and to communicate efficiently with our customers.

Hosting and server log files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data that your browser transmits, such as your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the referring URL, and your browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These log files are usually deleted after two weeks. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

Contact form and email delivery via Resend

  • Data: first name, last name, email address, phone number, your message and technical delivery data (e.g. time sent, delivery status)
  • Purpose: forwarding your inquiry to us by email so we can respond to it
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests)
  • Recipient: Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) as our processor

When you submit the contact form, your details are transmitted in encrypted form to the email service Resend and delivered from there as an email to our inbox. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Resend pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Resend stores data on servers in the United States. The transfer is safeguarded by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR), which form part of that agreement. Nevertheless, access to the data by US authorities cannot be ruled out entirely.

Contact by phone, email or WhatsApp

If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we process the information you provide in order to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta). When you use WhatsApp, its own privacy policy applies; the WhatsApp button on our website is a simple link and does not transfer any data before you click it.

Cookies, tracking and external content

This website does not use analytics tools, advertising cookies or social media plugins. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so no data is transferred to third parties such as Google when you view a page. Our Instagram profile is linked only; data is transmitted to Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) only after you click the link.

Storage period

We keep your inquiry only for as long as is necessary to handle it and, where applicable, to carry out the order. After that, we delete the data unless statutory retention obligations (for example under tax law) require us to keep it longer.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Data security

This website uses TLS encryption (HTTPS). You can recognise an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

Changes to this privacy policy

We update this privacy policy whenever our website or the services we use change. The current version is always available on this page.
